About the role
Responsibilities
- Determine donor eligibility through medical history interviews, physical examinations, and blood testing
- Manage donor adverse events and evaluate reactions according to established SOPs
- Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable findings
- Support center operations by following medical and technical guidance from the Center Physician and Medical Affairs
- Manage employee incidents and support environmental, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives
- Assist with vaccination programs and potentially serve as a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, including completion of a recognized nursing program
- Current LPN or LVN license/certification in the state of assignment
- Current CPR and AED certification
- Basic IV therapy certification as required by state licensure
- Two years of clinical or hospital experience
