LPN - Skilled Nursing (PRN)

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents in compliance with Federal & State regulations and company guidelines
• Manage resident admissions, including all necessary assessments and documentation
• Complete acute and long-term care plans or service plans
• Monitor clinical system tracking, such as wound care or infection control, under director supervision
• Provide general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community
• Notify physicians and family members of any changes in resident health status
• Respond quickly to medical emergencies and maintain safety protocols
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and resident confidentiality
• Collaborate closely with all departments and staff members to ensure high-quality care

Requirements

• Training from an accredited licensed or vocational nursing program
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
• Valid CPR Certification
• 1+ years of experience in senior care or a related field
• Proficiency in English for effective communication with residents, families, and staff
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks effectively under pressure
