LPN, LVN

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical patient care incorporating the nursing process in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act
• Ensure the assigned unit functions in a smooth, organized, and efficient manner under the direction of the Registered Nurse
• Deliver direct patient care and manage the delegation and supervision of nursing care
• Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants, Nurse Aides, and Techs as assigned
• Identify and implement components of the nursing process and teach patients and families
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Requirements

• Current, valid, and active LPN/LVN license in the state of employment
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or an approved vendor
• Valid IV Certification
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, and verbal communication)
• Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
• Three years of medical/surgical experience
• One year of area-specific experience
