LPN

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care through administration of prescribed medications and treatments
• Assign duties to nursing assistants based on resident needs and staff availability
• Observe, record, and report changes in resident conditions
• Notify physicians regarding condition changes, medication requests, or to verify orders
• Monitor medication carts, nurses' stations, and medication rooms for compliance and narcotic counts
• Transcribe physician orders accurately to Medication Administration Records
• Complete laboratory requests as ordered by physicians

Requirements

• Current LPN licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
• General working knowledge of the aging services industry
• Proven supervisory and leadership skills
• Compassion and patience for senior care
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to dynamic environments
