LPMR Consultant

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with international teams to deliver contaminated site management projects from investigation through remediation.
• Manage entire projects or support senior managers with proposal writing, project planning, and delivery.
• Conduct environmental fieldwork including ambient air and soil gas sampling.
• Oversee subcontractors during soil drilling and the operation of remediation systems.
• Perform Phase I and Phase II environmental assessments, vapour intrusion investigations, and remediation feasibility studies.
• Coordinate laboratory services and interpret/visualize environmental data.
• Draft technical reports and recommend actions to ensure client objectives and regulatory compliance are met.
• Perform health and safety planning and oversight to ensure team safety during field operations.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc degree in an environmental discipline (e.g., bio-engineering, earth sciences, hydrology, geology, or chemistry).
• 3 to 7 years of experience as an environmental consultant or managing remediation projects.
• Native Flemish/Dutch speaker with high proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Working knowledge of Flemish contaminated land legislation and soil/groundwater remediation techniques.
• Valid driving license (Category B).
• Willingness to travel for work occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in French.
• Experience working with clients in the oil and gas or chemical manufacturing industries.
