Lower School Head Teacher

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-quality, engaging, and developmentally appropriate instruction that meets academic, social, and emotional needs
• Differentiate instruction to support individual student needs
• Assess student progress and complete regular reports
• Communicate regularly with parents and lead conferences
• Work collaboratively with the Lower School Division to align curriculum across grade levels
• Mentor and supervise an Associate Teacher
• Assist in Admissions efforts and participate in school-wide committees and activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum 3 years of head teaching experience
• Experience with project-based and hands-on learning
• Demonstrated experience in differentiating instruction
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree
