Low Voltage Electrical Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot low voltage systems using wiring schematics, computer software, and diagnostic equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical to electronic interfaces
• Run conduit, pull wire, and make electrical connections following wiring diagrams
• Perform assembly duties and ECM programming
• Work with Engineering and Vendors on new wiring requirements for prototype units
• Work independently on wiring and programming engines and power pack systems
• Detect and report defective materials or unusual conditions to the supervisor
• Follow all prescribed safety regulations and company guidelines

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read and comprehend electrical schematics and specifications
• Strong knowledge of electrical components and their ideal operation
• Extensive knowledge of troubleshooting principles and application
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and comprehending English
• Ability to meet moderate physical demands, including lifting up to 30 lbs and climbing ladders
