Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize the performance of low-latency trading systems by identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies
• Develop and adapt the platform to support fast-paced trading demands while managing technical debt
• Design, optimize, and maintain high-performance trading systems to minimize latency

Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a low-latency developer in a high-frequency trading (HFT) environment
• Experience with HFT platform components on the critical path
• Strong proficiency in C++
• Deep knowledge of networking, kernel bypass, market data, order entry, and threading
• Excellent understanding of CPU caches and cache efficiency
• Experience with multithreaded and multi-process synchronization
• Advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems and kernel-level device mechanisms
• Proficiency in performance profiling and optimization tools
• Ability to leverage modern AI tools to improve workflow efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working at an HFT firm during its startup phase
• Experience working directly on a trading team
