Loss & Prevention Staff

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure the safety of guests and staff, and to deter theft and vandalism
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and grounds, reporting any hazards or security breaches immediately
• Assist in training new staff members on security protocols and emergency procedures
• Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, including conducting preliminary investigations and documenting findings
• Maintain clear and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences
• Collaborate with management to identify areas for improvement in security measures and loss prevention strategies

Requirements

• High school or diploma
• Previous experience in security or loss prevention preferred
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and compose during stressful situations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Trustworthy and ethical in handling confidential information
• Proficiency in using surveillance equipment and reporting software
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
