Loss Analytics Analyst 2

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance loss forecasting models for various financial products, including bankruptcy, fraud, and delinquencies.
• Perform variance analysis and communicate findings to management to support strategic business decisions.
• Support the production of monthly short-term and quarterly long-term forecasts by identifying seasonal trends and macro-economic variables.
• Build and maintain analytics dashboards using MicroStrategy to automate loss forecasting reports.
• Partner with business leaders to assess the impact of new policies on credit losses and fraud expense.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience in analytics or finance.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Strong knowledge of statistical methods.
• Experience with Python or SAS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with MicroStrategy and Essbase.
• Understanding of credit risks and data trends.
