About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and sustain aircraft logbooks, aeronautical equipment service records, and maintenance files in accordance with aviation regulations.
- Utilize management information systems to maintain aircraft forms and records.
- Draft and submit aircraft/engine management and inventory reporting system reports.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and yearly reports as assigned.
- Process readiness documents and administer aircraft configuration status accounting programs.
- Monitor aircraft configuration status, weight and balance, and aircraft inventory data for accuracy.
- Perform data entry and administrative support in systems such as OOMA, FAME, IMDS, CETADS, and CEMS.
- Comply with Foreign Object Damage (FOD), Hazardous Waste, and Tool Control Programs.
Requirements
- Two years of aviation clerical experience maintaining aircraft logbooks and service records.
- Satisfactory completion of U.S. Armed Forces Logs and Records courses or equivalent training.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required).
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work all assigned shifts and schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with US Navy or FAA aircraft logbooks and documentation.
- Experience with specific aircraft models including F/A-18, EA-18G, E-2C, F-16, or MH-60S.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and typing speed of at least 35 WPM.
- Knowledge of NALCOMIS, OOMA, FAME, IMDS, CETADS, or CEMS.
- Certifications in Weight and Balance, Hazardous Waste Communications, or Operational Risk Management (ORM).
