Logistics Traffic Lead

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outbound, inbound, and 3rd party shipments to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Review and prepare shipping documents, including creating and processing BOLs and shipping labels
• Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers and freight companies
• Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and invoices
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, tracking numbers, and delivery confirmations
• Communicate with internal departments to ensure all shipping requirements are met
• Resolve shipping discrepancies and issues with carriers
• Monitor shipments to report shortages or overages
• Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping regulations
• Perform data entry and maintain shipping logs
• Coordinate with collect freight carriers for collect shipments
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the traffic area

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in traffic, logistics, or freight transportation operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Outlook
• Familiarity with shipping/logistics software, TMS, and ERP systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
