About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing logistics team, managing staffing, workload, and resource allocation to meet SLA targets.
  • Oversee all transport operations, including carrier management, bookings, tracking, and exception handling for valuables and events.
  • Manage CITES administration and compliance for Australia and New Zealand, including permit applications and office communication.
  • Direct import and export activities, ensuring accurate shipping documentation and managing return flows to regional hubs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Australian and New Zealand customs authorities.
  • Maintain Richemont’s Australian Trusted Trader (ATT) certification and monitor regulatory changes.
  • Manage transport administration, including invoice booking, cost allocation, and budget preparation.
  • Partner with local Maisons to identify business needs and drive continuous service improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Deep understanding of freight forwarding, various transportation modes, and customs clearance procedures.
  • Proficiency with logistics software, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder and supplier coordination.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with SAP.
  • Experience in the luxury retail sector.
