About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage people, equipment, and resources for the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program – Philippines (MCPP-PHIL)
- Develop and maintain an equipment management program adhering to Marine Corps policy and contract requirements
- Formulate administrative and operational policies and procedures
- Direct and coordinate materiel transportation, movement, equipment accountability, and readiness
- Oversee supply administration, warehousing activities, and budget allocation
- Identify requirements for manpower, materiel, facilities, and services
- Review invoices and requisitions, approving equipment and supply purchases within budgetary guidelines
- Ensure compliance with personnel policies, government regulations, and safety/environmental standards
- Establish performance objectives and supervise direct reports
- Maintain ISO policies and foster a culture of quality improvement
Requirements
- BS degree in business or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 15 years of progressive logistics experience, including specialized knowledge of maintenance and support for motor transportation, engineering, ordnance, and communications equipment
- 10 years of management experience involving cost/schedule controls and program planning
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
- Valid driver's license and a U.S. Passport
- Ability to obtain a Philippines work visa and Alien Employment Permit
- Ability to pass an FBI Background investigation
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of Marine Corps policies, regulations, and orders
- Industry certification
- Working knowledge of military storage and general maintenance procedures for tactical equipment
- Proficiency in automation and scripting
- Strong written and oral communication skills
