About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and optimize end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics to ensure efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and stock control.
- Improve inventory accuracy and monitor slow-moving, obsolete, or excess stock.
- Manage transportation planning, route optimization, and third-party logistics (3PL) performance.
- Oversee import/export activities, customs clearance, freight forwarding, and shipping documentation.
- Manage relationships with vendors, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to drive cost optimization.
- Develop SOPs and implement process controls to improve operational efficiency and cost management.
- Lead, coach, and mentor logistics, warehouse, and transportation teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Logistics or Supply Chain within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership or people-management role.
- Expertise in Warehouse Management, Inventory Control, and Transportation Planning.
- Strong knowledge of import/export processes, customs clearance, and freight operations.
- Proven experience working with ERP systems and supply chain reporting tools.
- Fluent English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the Saudi Arabia or GCC markets.
- Professional certifications such as CSCP, CLTD, CPIM, or CILT.
- Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) certification.
- Proficiency in the Arabic language.
