Logistics Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Manage an hourly workforce by assessing performance, providing feedback, and handling conflict resolution or disciplinary actions
• Monitor and improve operations to ensure a safe work environment with a goal of zero OSHA recordable incidents
• Oversee incoming acceptance, storage, and issuing of parts, details, and hardware into inventory
• Manage shipping and receiving operations, including local and critical point-to-point movements
• Ensure cycle counting procedures meet internal and external audit requirements
• Maintain shelf-life storage, stock rotation (FIFO), and effective environmental controls
• Drive continuous improvement projects and cost-saving opportunities
• Develop service routes and material replenishment plans to meet internal customer service levels

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of professional experience in materials management, supply chain, or production/manufacturing
• Or 4+ years of professional experience in materials management, supply chain, or production/manufacturing in lieu of a degree
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform physical tasks including standing, climbing, bending, and stretching
• Willingness to travel to other sites up to 25%
• Availability to work extended hours and weekends when necessary

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with ERP/inventory management software and MRP systems
• 5+ years of leadership experience within materials management
• APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP)
• Lean/Six Sigma experience or Green/Black belt certifications
• Experience in aerospace, aviation, or automotive manufacturing environments
• Experience using WarpDrive
• Ability to operate forklift equipment
