Logistics Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of material handling, including shipping, receiving, and data entry within SAP.
• Plan and direct the activities of the Transportation and Logistics Planning team to ensure customer needs are met efficiently.
• Manage short and long-term planning, resource employment, budgeting, and expense control for the department.
• Implement operational policies and design improved processes to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Manage customer delivery expectations, including Vendor Buying Agreements and preferred carrier lists.
• Collaborate with carriers to ensure timely deliveries while managing logistics costs.
• Communicate upcoming promotions, new product introductions, and volume changes to ensure seamless supply chain collaboration.
• Lead talent development, training, and goal attainment within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 3-5 years of experience supervising or leading people in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of freight logistics.
