Logistics Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Implement operational plans for the department, including production planning, procurement, and distribution to plants and final clients.
• Manage resources and existing procedures to optimize performance and improve overall logistic activities.
• Define short-term production programs to harmonize sales and production requirements while minimizing stock levels.
• Identify raw and miscellaneous material requirements to develop focused purchasing programs.
• Oversee daily warehouse, store, and transportation tasks, recommending improvements for storage and timely delivery.
• Supervise and monitor team performance, allocating work, reviewing completion, and providing coaching to develop skills.
• Manage inventory for major sites or factories, following procedures to identify and resolve issues.
• Contribute to the investment budget by providing relevant data and elements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent level of education.
• Proven experience working unsupervised as an experienced practitioner.
• Experience in the general supervision and management of junior colleagues.
