About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead logistics operations during the second shift in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment
- Ensure efficient material flow and compliance with industry standards
- Manage material flow processes to support production requirements
- Maintain high standards of health and safety awareness within the logistics department
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a Materials role
- APICS or PMAC training
- Working knowledge of MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations)
- Familiarity with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proven problem-solving abilities and IT proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous supply chain management experience in a JIT (Just-In-Time) or JIS (Just-In-Sequence) environment
- Previous knowledge of Chrysler material flow
- Tier 1 automotive industry knowledge
