Logistics Supermarket Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach associates in picking, kitting, and line delivery tasks
• Assign work based on production schedules and route priorities
• Ensure accurate material picking and kitting per BOM and Kanban requirements
• Maintain supermarket layout, inventory accuracy, and min/max levels
• Manage WMS/ERP transactions for material movements and kit issuance
• Track KPIs including accuracy, OTD, and inventory
• Identify opportunities for process optimization using Lean or Six Sigma techniques
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management within an automotive manufacturing industry
• Proven experience leading and managing teams in a fast-paced OEM environment
• Experience with inventory management and tracking materials
• Proficiency with WMS and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
• Familiarity with material handling equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks
• Bachelor’s Degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in supply chain management (e.g., APICS)
• Six Sigma or Lean certifications
