Logistics Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct all logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory management, and transportation.
• Supervise day-to-day operations to ensure the efficient, safe, and cost-effective movement of materials, equipment, and products.
• Lead, mentor, and develop logistics supervisors and staff, overseeing scheduling, workload planning, and performance evaluations.
• Act as a strategic member of the management team with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale.
• Ensure all processes comply with company safety programs, DOT regulations, OSHA requirements, and environmental guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize the supply chain and work effectively with in-house customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 6-8+ years of progressive experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Proven leadership abilities and experience managing teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with SAP.
• In-depth knowledge of logistics concepts, practices, and procedures.
