Logistics Strategy Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic logistics partnerships across air, ocean, rail, trucking, parcel, and intermodal modes
• Lead customs brokerage and trade compliance strategy including ITAR, DFARS, and EAR
• Build and maintain KPI dashboards for logistics spend, on-time delivery, and carrier performance
• Lead the evaluation, selection, and integration of a Transportation Management System (TMS)
• Partner with mission support to optimize outbound logistics workflows
• Work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and facilities to plan logistics requirements
• Manage and develop a team of logistics professionals
• Lead supplier negotiations, contract execution, and performance management
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for process efficiency and cost savings

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Deep experience in domestic and international transportation modes
• Experience with defense trade compliance (ITAR, DFARS, EAR)
• Strong background in supplier performance management and contract negotiations
• 3–5+ years of experience leading and developing a team
• Proven track record managing global suppliers across concurrent programs
• Experience with TMS platforms and logistics data/analytics tools
