Logistics Specialist

Responsibilities

• Implement inbound logistics strategy across procurement, distribution centers, and vendors
• Guide and train inbound logistics coordinators and serve as the primary escalation point
• Manage weekly data and reporting for inbound loads and month-end financial reporting
• Track performance of external vendors, brokers, and carriers through monthly business reviews
• Conduct shipping and invoice audits to identify discrepancies and prevent overpayment
• Optimize the logistics network through load planning, carrier performance, and trailer utilization
• Act as a logistics tool super-user, utilizing AI tools to improve workflow efficiency
• Collaborate with North American logistics teams to share operational best practices

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, and supply chain
• Understanding of manufacturing or distribution center operations
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and WMS systems
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage details and prioritize tasks under time pressure
