Logistics Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly shipping schedules using SAP and other logistics tools
• Develop and manage paperwork required for loading functions and shipping documentation
• Process orders for domestic, international, and special shipments
• Facilitate schedule and level load planning to optimize outbound dock scheduling
• Perform cycle counts and manage date codes for stock rotation using FIFO methods
• Receive materials and scan items into inventory
• Coordinate directly with customers, sales, and outside logistics groups to resolve shipping conflicts
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area following 5S standards and Lean management systems

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous forklift operator experience
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• High computer aptitude with experience using Microsoft Office and various digital systems
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers, managers, and external customers

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in Shipping, Receiving, or Supply Chain roles
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment
