Logistics Specialist

Responsibilities

• Plan and arrange logistics import shipments and manage daily operational goals.
• Optimize supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and standardize logistics workflows.
• Coordinate with warehouses, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and drayage providers.
• Manage permission requests and submissions for import shipments, including EEI, TISI, and Excise.
• Analyze purchase orders against stock availability to reduce shipping costs.
• Develop monthly reports covering project timelines, corporate metrics, and productivity.
• Support the team in developing and maintaining logistics process documentation.
• Assist with vendor invoice audits and month-end financial processing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of proven experience as a Logistics Supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, shipping processes, and shipment management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems, specifically SAP (Warehouse module).
• Experience or knowledge regarding TISI permits, Excise, and EEI.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an international environment and under high pressure.
