Logistics Specialist

Responsibilities

• Optimize inventory processes and drive continuous improvement to meet production schedules.
• Coordinate and expedite materials while managing inventory quality and accuracy.
• Maintain inventory management systems and perform SAP data maintenance.
• Schedule dedicated and expedited transportation and track cost-reduction opportunities.
• Perform routine warehouse tasks including sorting, picking, final packing, cycle counting, and raw material audits.
• Build strong relationships with plant leadership, commercial teams, and finance to align logistics with business strategy.
• Publish performance metrics and support master schedule execution.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in production, planning, or logistics.
• Proficiency in SAP data maintenance and storage location cleanup.
• Ability to use hand tools such as tape measures, calipers, or grinders.
• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40lbs.
• Ability to safely use a ladder and perform tasks that involve standing, bending, or twisting for extended periods.
• Legal authorization to work in the US.
