Logistics Shift Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Ensure, control, and document efficient goods, material, and logistics processes in compliance with ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820 regulatory requirements.
• Optimize lead times, warehouse structures, and timely material availability through risk management and continuous improvement.
• Guarantee quality and traceability for all logistics activities, including goods receipt, storage, and distribution.
• Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to the logistics team, including resource planning and task distribution.
• Monitor and evaluate logistics performance using relevant KPIs such as delivery reliability and picking quality.
• Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Production to ensure process safety and compliance.

Requirements

• Completed training in logistics management, a Master Craftsman qualification, or a comparable qualification with relevant experience.
• Several years of professional and leadership experience in medical technology or a highly regulated industrial environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with an analytical and solution-oriented working style.
• Proficient knowledge of warehouse management systems, including batch and serial number tracking.
• Strong IT skills, specifically in SAP and MS Office.
• Experience with regulatory standards (e.g., 21 CFR 820, FDA, EU MDR) and maintaining SOPs.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
