Logistics Senior Analyst - Inter-Plant Trailer and Material Transfer

Responsibilities

• Design and authorize daily inter-plant shipment schedules to meet production requirements
• Oversee inter-plant trailer logistics and evaluate distribution center movements to mitigate risks
• Manage and reconcile complex inventory discrepancies through independent investigation and corrective action
• Serve as the primary liaison between Materials, Production, and Quality teams to resolve material handoff issues
• Act as the primary point of accountability for contracted trailer dispatch teams and evaluate carrier performance
• Analyze operational metrics to provide performance reports and recommendations for process improvements
• Enforce operational standards for packaging and transport to ensure compliance with safety and quality benchmarks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent professional experience)
• 5-8 years of experience in supply chain or logistics
• Proven track record of independent project management and operational analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering or supply chain management
• Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in interpreting complex data sets
• Experience leading a team and partnering with employees at all levels of an organization
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional leadership
• Customer-oriented mindset with experience managing vendor relationships
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
