Logistics Sales Executive

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow revenue by leveraging an existing book of business and sourcing new logistics opportunities
• Own accounts cradle to grave, managing the full sales cycle and freight execution
• Build consultative relationships to deliver tailored refrigerated and dry freight solutions
• Plan, place, and manage truck routes, coordinating carriers and shipments
• Handle day-to-day operational responsibilities including dispatching, load coordination, and shipment tracking
• Manage cross-border shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and customs compliance
• Proactively communicate with customers regarding shipment status and issue resolution
• Prepare sales forecasts, revenue reporting, and performance metrics

Requirements

• Proven success in logistics sales with an active, transferable book of business
• Strong working knowledge of freight transportation, trucking operations, and route planning
• Demonstrated ability to manage logistics operations alongside sales responsibilities
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Experience with cross-border freight is a strong asset
• Ability to thrive in a high-ownership, fast-moving role
