Logistics Representative II

Responsibilities

• Resolve freight payment issues in a timely manner and implement corrective action plans to eliminate systemic concerns.
• Develop freight payment reports to support strategic business decisions.
• Monitor contractual agreements between freight carriers and third-party service providers.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for freight payment issues for both internal stakeholders and external transportation suppliers.
• Research and resolve discrepancies raised by freight payment providers and contracted carriers.
• Ensure service providers are appropriately paying carriers and prepare documentation for business controls.
• Participate in root cause analysis projects to drive process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related Business field.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of SAP and Business Warehouse applications.
• Experience with the Cass Freight payment system.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders at various levels.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience driving category management and continuous improvement with suppliers.
• Knowledge of Covestro products, customers, and carriers.
• Understanding of contracts and contract law.
