Logistics Operator/Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair equipment within inbound and outbound areas, including de-palletizer and palletizer equipment
• Load and unload trucks, support production, and maintain raw and packaging inventories
• Operate various fork trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (Sky Jack, deep reach, clamp apparatus, etc.)
• Use warehouse systems and tools including SAP, RF scanners, and JDA to move materials and manage work orders
• Support the plant’s LEAN initiatives and maintain housekeeping via the 5-S program
• Train associates on warehouse systems and programs as required

Requirements

• At least 3 years of warehouse experience
• At least 3 years of fork truck experience
• Ability to lift objects between 21-50 lbs occasionally
• Willingness to work overtime as required
• Ability to work a 12-hour day shift on a 2/2/3 schedule
