About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist in the mooring or unmooring of vessels and ensure their security
- Manage access filtration and site security
- Ensure availability of equipment, machines, and emergency material
- Supervise and control the operational safety of installations during docking operations
- Perform connections and disconnections for ships, wagons, and trucks
- Manage manual and computer-supervised circuits for terminal needs
- Monitor loading and unloading installations
- Manage truck and wagon loading operations
- Ensure site protection against unauthorized access and pollution
- Perform first-level maintenance and minor repairs
- Act as a liaison between ship and shore for various stakeholders (crew, port personnel, clients)
- Operate in compliance with ISO and MASE standards
Requirements
- Background in logistics
- Interest in maritime and port activities
- Ability to adapt to irregular working hours
- English proficiency (written and spoken) for communicating with port and maritime teams
- Versatile with a team spirit and ability to work autonomously
- Strong sense of responsibility and interpersonal skills
