Logistics Operations Supervisor II

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational support to supervisory staff within the Parts Distribution Center (PDC).
• Plan work schedules, staffing requirements, and production sequences to maximize productivity.
• Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives and implement Truck Operating System (TOS) processes.
• Analyze operational and statistical data to identify root causes of issues and develop corrective action plans.
• Oversee safety, health, and security programs in compliance with Alberta Occupational Health & Safety legislation.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian labour laws and governmental regulatory requirements.
• Manage warehouse layout, space utilization, slotting strategies, and inventory control.
• Develop and monitor departmental budgets and operating expenses.
• Act as a Super User for SAP, DView, IMS, and other PDC systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in a high-volume logistics or manufacturing environment.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience in distribution, manufacturing, or transportation.
• Knowledge and application of Lean and Continuous Improvement principles.
• Familiarity with Canadian labour laws and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong customer focus and previous experience interacting directly with customers.
