Logistics Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the annual operations and supply chain budget, including monthly cost analysis.
• Review cost system data to ensure alignment with corporate standards and identify deviations.
• Support capital investment decisions through financial and operational assessments.
• Manage vendor activities, including contract administration, procurement, and invoice tracking.
• Oversee fleet contracts and maintenance activities to ensure reliability and cost control.
• Drive continuous improvement by benchmarking practices and coordinating with Operations.
• Lead yard-related initiatives, including system implementations and logistics optimization.
• Promote and monitor safety programs through preventive and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain operations, or an industrial environment.
• Proficiency with Excel (macros), Power BI, PowerApps, and Power Automate.
• Working knowledge of cost analysis, vendor management, and contract administration.
• Understanding of logistics processes, fleet operations, and yard activities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of VBA, AutoCAD, or Python.
