About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor logistics activities, including attending SQCDP meetings and escalating issues impacting production
- Design and implement optimized distribution solutions to ensure parts reach the Point of Use at the right time
- Analyze KPIs to anticipate issues and improve distribution flow from HUB to Point of Use
- Lead and contribute to continuous improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma principles
- Manage logistics data, flow cartography, and work specifications for new activities
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to manage and prevent logistics disruptions
- Monitor inventory and ensure the appropriate use of specific logistics means
Requirements
- BA or BS degree in an appropriate discipline
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Warehousing, or Logistics
- Minimum 1 year of proven leadership experience managing successful teams
- Proficiency with SAP/R3/EWM or similar technical systems
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies and Six Sigma principles
- Experience with project management and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for interfacing with all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Experience working within a Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) manufacturing environment
- Experience working with external service providers
