Logistics Material Flow Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support and improve assembly and logistics processes to ensure seamless material flow
• Plan manual material handling equipment use including tugger trains and forklifts
• Implement and manage Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems
• Design and develop supermarket areas for in-house sequenced parts
• Apply change management principles to optimize resource allocation
• Use Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software to monitor production
• Develop strategies for efficient route traffic management within the facility
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and logistics teams
• Track and analyze performance metrics for continuous improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive manufacturing or assembly process coordination
• Experience with manual and automated (AGV) systems
• Knowledge of VDA, ISO, and automotive industry standards
• Experience conducting process audits
• Expertise in change management within automotive environments
• Experience with route optimization and traffic management tools (TMS, WMS)
• Understanding of JIS logistics and material flow planning
• Experience managing supplier selection for equipment
