Logistics Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate logistics and shipping teams across multiple sites to fulfill inbound and outbound obligations
• Ensure a safe working environment for all employees, contractors, and visitors engaged in logistics activities
• Oversee the timely availability of packaging materials and the provision of necessary lifting equipment and transport
• Manage the smooth transfer of products globally by ensuring compliance with national and international trade requirements
• Maintain accurate electronic and hard copy documentation for local and international shipping routes
• Manage contracts with transport companies and logistics service providers in an ethical and transparent manner
• Pursue cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies to meet business needs
• Oversee scrap material transactions in alignment with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
• At least 5 years of Logistics Management experience
• Strong understanding of transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and supply chain optimization
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards governing logistics operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant logistics software
• Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within the manufacturing sector
