About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage daily North American logistics operations for finished goods and raw materials
- Lead, coach, and develop the US Logistics team
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess 3rd party logistic provider performance
- Administer monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews
- Monitor key performance metrics to ensure supply chain costs align with goals
- Negotiate rates with carriers and ensure data integrity
- Design new deployment models and optimize carrier selection and lanes
- Develop, update, and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Lead the process for setting up new lanes in the Transportation Management System (TMS)
Requirements
- More than 5 years of experience in logistics or transportation operations
- Proven experience as a logistics manager with staff management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with SAP and TMS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred
