About the role
Responsibilities
- Direct the daily operation to ensure an efficient, safe, and professional working environment for team leaders and drivers
- Coach, motivate, and develop the team, including handling difficult conversations when necessary
- Monitor hub performance by tracking KPIs and implementing continuous improvements
- Collaborate with adjacent teams and stakeholders to manage processes and proactively address operational challenges
- Manage rosters, planning, and absenteeism, and oversee employee development and performance reviews
- Supervise the vehicle fleet and ensure compliance with welfare and environmental regulations
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the logistics sector
- Proven experience in a leadership role
- Strong people skills with the ability to motivate and set boundaries
- Analytical and process-oriented mindset with a hands-on approach
- Flexibility to be available during weekends
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
