Logistics Manager

Responsibilities

• Communicate logistics and inventory expectations to supervision and manage employee performance through coaching and counseling
• Develop and implement changes to existing logistics procedures to improve cost, cycle time, service, and quality
• Collaborate with site, regional, and project leadership to develop logistics support plans and policies
• Ensure timely data entry of all material moves into the ERP system to maintain accurate records
• Direct staff in performing physical inventory counts, recording results, and reconciling discrepancies
• Support all internal and external audits related to logistics and inventory
• Lead safe work practices in accordance with OSHA and company health and safety expectations

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of work experience in logistics and distribution
• 5-8 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain management environment
• 6+ years of experience supervising teams in logistics and inventory manufacturing operations
• Extensive knowledge of DOT, ATF, and FAA regulations
• Demonstrated knowledge of shipping hazardous materials and inventory control
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to perform physical demands including bending, lifting up to 30 pounds, and repetitive motion
