About the role
Responsibilities
- Support acquisition and sustainment functions for the Land-based Phalanx Weapon System (LPWS)
- Manage supply and inventory control for stocked, non-stocked, and non-demand items
- Perform procurement support, demand planning, and budget-related logistics analysis
- Process and validate MILSTRIP requisitions within the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP)
- Conduct quality control of requisitions, including follow-ups on backorders and discrepancy resolution
- Track, receive, inspect, store, issue, and dispose of materials and equipment
- Maintain accurate accountability of government property in accordance with Army regulations
- Utilize logistics systems including LMP, NAVSUP, DLA portals, ELMS, and COLTS
- Support inventory management activities including physical inventories and reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with Army Regulation 735-5 and AR 710-1
Requirements
- High School diploma with 13 years of relevant experience, OR
- Associate degree with 11 years of relevant experience, OR
- Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience
- Active security clearance
- Ability to travel up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting U.S. Army acquisition or sustainment programs
- Proficiency with LMP, COLTS, NAVSUP, DLA, and ELMS systems
- Experience in logistics, supply chain management, or acquisition support
- Familiarity with MILSTRIP processes and Army logistics systems
- Knowledge of Army property accountability and inventory management regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to supply chain operations
