Logistics Management Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support acquisition and sustainment functions for the Land-based Phalanx Weapon System (LPWS)
• Manage supply and inventory control for stocked, non-stocked, and non-demand items
• Perform procurement support, demand planning, and budget-related logistics analysis
• Process and validate MILSTRIP requisitions within the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP)
• Conduct quality control of requisitions, including follow-ups on backorders and discrepancy resolution
• Track, receive, inspect, store, issue, and dispose of materials and equipment
• Maintain accurate accountability of government property in accordance with Army regulations
• Utilize logistics systems including LMP, NAVSUP, DLA portals, ELMS, and COLTS
• Support inventory management activities including physical inventories and reconciliation
• Ensure compliance with Army Regulation 735-5 and AR 710-1

Requirements

• High School diploma with 13 years of relevant experience, OR
• Associate degree with 11 years of relevant experience, OR
• Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience
• Active security clearance
• Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting U.S. Army acquisition or sustainment programs
• Proficiency with LMP, COLTS, NAVSUP, DLA, and ELMS systems
• Experience in logistics, supply chain management, or acquisition support
• Familiarity with MILSTRIP processes and Army logistics systems
• Knowledge of Army property accountability and inventory management regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to supply chain operations
