Logistics Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and processing Sales Orders (SO) and Purchase Orders (PO) using SAP
• Support import/export logistics coordination with freight forwarders and 3PL partners
• Prepare shipping and customs documentation to ensure international trade compliance
• Monitor inventory transactions and assist with reconciliation across warehouse locations
• Track order and shipment status, providing timely updates on delivery schedules
• Communicate with internal teams and external customers regarding shipment status
• Assist with data analysis and reporting using SAP and Microsoft Excel
• Support the resolution of damaged or lost goods claims

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field
• 0-2 years of relevant experience (can include academic projects or previous internships)
• Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Must live in the Atlanta, GA area during the internship

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas)
• Interest in global supply chain operations
• Ability to collaborate effectively in an international, cross-cultural environment
