Logistics Hub Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive the daily operation of the Ghent hub to ensure an efficient, safe, and professional environment for team leaders and drivers
• Coach, motivate, and develop the team, including managing performance and conducting difficult conversations when necessary
• Monitor hub performance by tracking KPIs and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with adjacent teams and stakeholders to optimize processes and proactively address operational challenges
• Manage staff scheduling, planning, and absenteeism, while overseeing employee development and appraisals
• Supervise the vehicle fleet and ensure compliance with all welfare and environmental regulations

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the logistics sector, including proven leadership experience
• Strong people skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage professional boundaries
• Analytical and process-oriented mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
• Fluency in both Dutch and English
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by the operation
