Logistics Engineering Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Direct, manage, and coordinate the logistics engineering team to optimize material and information flow projects.
• Design and implement medium complexity logistics processes and material flow concepts along the supply chain.
• Supervise packaging planning and the development of best practice packaging engineering solutions.
• Manage logistics projects from technical and organizational perspectives, ensuring success regarding time, budget, and quality.
• Oversee the selection and optimization of logistics infrastructure, equipment, and IT solutions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in logistics processes considering cost, quality, and customer requirements.
• Guide, instruct, and support team members to fulfill tasks in a target-oriented and motivating manner.
• Participate in the hiring process and manage team performance and qualifications.

Requirements

• Proven leadership skills and experience in a management or supervisory role.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or other major ERP systems.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Experience in logistics process optimization and project management.
