Logistics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Monitor supply of raw materials, stock levels, storage capability, and demand levels based on business initiatives
• Create integrated processes among internal functions including operations, purchasing, logistics, and outside suppliers
• Drive continuous improvement in material movement through production and distribution processes
• Establish key performance metrics and benchmarks for supply chain planning and forecasting
• Oversee delivery scheduling to prevent excess stock or backorders
• Maintain essential records and data for material programs and resource planning
• Develop short, medium, and long-term supply plans to ensure security of supply and optimize profit
• Create risk assessments and contingency plans for demand fluctuations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
