Logistics Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive process improvements and innovate new ways of working to ensure efficient operational flow.
• Design and implement operational layouts to improve internal processes and productivity.
• Act as Project Leader for new distribution center initiatives, including investment evaluation and commissioning.
• Oversee and manage a technical team consisting of Logistics Developers and Packaging Engineers.
• Supervise Warehouse Auditors and collaborate across departments to ensure effective communication.
• Benchmark business performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train distribution center employees on new processes and routines.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in an industrial products manufacturing environment.
• University degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience implementing and using WMS Manhattan Scale.
• Proven expertise in process design, capacity planning, and labor management optimization.
• Strong team leadership experience managing technical employees.
• Solid project management, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and 14001 standards.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including V-lookups and pivot tables.
