About the role

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with U.S. import/export regulations, CBP requirements, and company policies
  • Manage customs clearance processes and coordinate with brokers and freight forwarders
  • Prepare, review, and maintain import/export documentation including commercial invoices and packing lists
  • Utilize CBP systems such as ACE and CTPAT for filings and compliance tracking
  • Coordinate logistics vendors including carriers, freight forwarders, and 3PLs
  • Track shipments and resolve delays, damages, or clearance issues
  • Monitor and evaluate vendor performance regarding cost, service, and delivery timelines
  • Analyze logistics data and KPIs to identify trends and optimization opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams and global headquarters to support supply chain efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3-5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or trade compliance roles
  • Working knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations (CBP), HTS classification, and Incoterms
  • Experience managing logistics vendors such as freight forwarders, brokers, and 3PLs
  • Proficiency in SAP (SD/MM preferred) and advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ACE, CTPAT, or similar trade compliance systems
  • Experience collaborating with global subsidiaries and international headquarters
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced multinational environment
