About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all inbound and outbound freight movements for finished goods and service parts
- Manage carrier relationships and approve alternate carriers on a spot movement basis
- Release customer orders in Mapics to support on-time delivery requirements
- Arrange outside carriers while reviewing rates to ensure cost-effective transportation
- Communicate with relevant parties to ensure compliance with Routing Guides and customer requirements
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving to manage yard checks and trailer utilization
- Prepare outbound shipment paperwork, update warehouse management appointment dates, and set up PAPS clearance
- Match freight Bills of Lading with carrier invoices and verify charge accuracy
- Monitor and update On Time In Full (OTIF) metrics
- Coordinate on-time part pickups for FTL, LTL, and courier services
- Administer product returns and document processes to improve efficiency
Requirements
- College or University degree/diploma in Business or a relevant field
- 2+ years of experience in a similar logistics or coordination role
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
- Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
