About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all inbound and outbound freight movements for finished goods and service parts
  • Manage carrier relationships and approve alternate carriers on a spot movement basis
  • Release customer orders in Mapics to the warehouse to support on-time delivery
  • Arrange outside carriers while reviewing rates to ensure cost-effective transportation
  • Communicate with relevant parties to ensure compliance with Routing Guides and customer requirements
  • Coordinate with shipping and receiving to manage trailer efficiency and control detention charges
  • Prepare outbound shipment paperwork, update warehouse management appointment dates, and set up PAPS clearance
  • Match freight Bills of Lading with carrier invoices and verify accuracy of charges
  • Monitor and update On Time In Full (OTIF) metrics
  • Coordinate on-time part pickups for FTL, LTL, and courier services
  • Administer product returns and document processes to improve efficiency

Requirements

  • College or University degree/diploma in Business or a relevant field
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar logistics or coordination role
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
