Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule intermodal shipments, including pickups, rail departures, and final mile delivery
• Serve as the primary daily point of contact for drayage carriers and rail providers
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays to maintain service reliability
• Troubleshoot service disruptions such as missed cutoffs, equipment shortages, and terminal congestion
• Communicate timely updates and alternative solutions to customers to maintain high satisfaction
• Optimize routing and execution strategies to improve efficiency and reduce transit times
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and pricing teams to improve outcomes
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
